Hi Man,
Thanks for the
feedback!
I
have a question for you. It takes too much pressure for me I think...
Once I have packed... I usually increase pressure to 11 or 12 and
try for length. Please tell me if I am going too high, and risking
damage.
That does sound
awful high. I know that guys vary a lot, and how much pressure you
need also depends on your altitude and the atmospheric pressure.
I usually pump up easily at 2 - 3 inches. Often the highest I go
steady in a session is 4 - 5. The most I can take for a minute is
10 - but I hardly ever reach that unless I'm doing a real long session,
like about 4 hours. Often I regret those massive sessions because
I cannot get a good boner for a couple days after.
And that leads
to a simple test you can perform. Can you get a good hard
boner at the end of each set? If so, then you're OK on the pressure.
Are your boners the day after pumping actually bigger and harder
than before pumping? If so, then you're doing great!
As far as I
know, you won't suffer long-term damage without some indicators
in the short term, such as soreness, petechia or bruising, or loss
of erectile power.
But even if
you pass the tests with flying colors - or should I say flying precum
:-) I recommend that you try to train yourself to pump with less
pressure.
The less pressure
you use, the safer you are. To train yourself, try easing off the
pressure a bit toward the end of each set, then do the "active
pumping" techniques that I talk about - milking
the tube, raising and lowering the pressure
repeatedly.
Really work
yourself in the last 5 minutes of each set, and then finish off
the set with a steady pull at a lower pressure than you normally
use. Gradually work the pressure level down over a month or so.
I've trained
myself this way, though without realizing that's what I was doing.
I used to pump up at around 4 - 5, maxing out at 7 - 10. Now I mostly
use 2 - 3, maxing at 5.
Minimal pressure,
maximal control.
Let me know
how you make out bud.
- Tiger
